Lloyds Banking Group is closing 136 branches nationwide
Lloyds Bank ing Group has announced it will close 136 more banks before March 2026 - including five in Lancashire .
Among the Lancashire branches affected are the Lloyds in Leyland, which closes on May 8, and the Halifax in St Annes, which shuts its doors on June 12. Three further Halifax banks will close in Fleetwood , Blackpool's Lytham Road and Nelson . Last week, LancsLive reported how NatWest was shutting seven Lancashire branches as part of 53 closures nationwide. And this startling map shows the scale of the county's vanishing banks since 2022.
