Five rescued from single-vehicle crash last night
The crash happened at about 10.30pm yesterday. Fire crews from Hornby and Lancaster attended the scene on Littledale Road, Brookhouse, Lancaster
The crash involved one vehicle and five people were rescued before being passed over to the North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters were in attendance for two hours.A spokesperson for LFRS said: "At 23:30 on the 4th March 2023, three fire engines from Hornby and Lancaster attended a road traffic collision on Littledale Road, Brookhouse Lancaster. The incident involved one vehicle.
"Firefighters used Holmatro cutting and speading tools and a scoop stretcher to rescue extricate casualties from the vehicle. Crews also worked to make the scene safe. Five casualties were passes into the care of North West Ambulance service. Crews were in attendance for over two hours."
