Football Insider has been told by sources that Fleetwood Town are lining up an approach for Barrow boss Pete Wild to replace Scott Brown.
has plenty of experience in League One, having guided MK Dons out of the division and managed Oxford in the third tier between 2018 and 2023.Robinson’s managerial career stretches back over 15 years and he was most recently the assistant to Sam Allardyce when he was boss of Leeds United for their final four games of the 2022-23 season.
Scott Brown took charge of Fleetwood in May last year, shortly after leaving a player-coach role at Aberdeen.Brown also oversaw Fleetwood’s historic FA Cup run which saw the third division side go all the way to the fifth round of the competition for the first time.
