Three people were arrested on suspicion of murdering Barbara Salmon
Bunches of flowers were laid on the doorstep of a flats block where a 68-year-old woman was found dead. Barbara Salmon was found in her home, where she had lived for around 10 years, on Wednesday, November 20. Emergency services were called to the scene on Hillary Drive, Crosby , at around 1.50pm.
In a statement, Merseyside Police said: 'We can confirm that an investigation is underway following the unexplained death of a woman in Crosby on Wednesday, 20 November. 'At 1.50pm, emergency services received a report that a 68-year-old woman had been found deceased at her home address in Hilary Drive. Enquiries into the unexplained death are ongoing to establish the circumstances of what happened.
