Highs will reach the low 70s today, much warmer than the 50s over the weekend
It was a gloomy, soggy, and cool weekend in the Susquehanna Valley, but warmer weather returns this week.IMPACT MORNINGA Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. for Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, and York Counties. These are the spots where fog has been most dense overnight. Visibility may drop to 1/4 mile or less, so please allow extra time for your morning commute. After fog clears, look for mostly cloudy skies and warmer highs in the low 70s. It will be a bit sticky as well.
The front will linger along the PA/MD state line tonight, leading to a few showers and thunderstorms. Areas of fog may redevelop, with lows near 60 degrees. Tuesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine, with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be warmer, in the mid-to-upper 70s. A warm front will lift north Tuesday night, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms. As the front lifts north Wednesday, temperatures will soar to the mid-80s.
