The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued several food recalls this December, including cheese, beef slices, and granola bars. These recalls are due to potential contamination with listeria, incorrect labeling, and possible metal fragments. Customers are urged to return affected products to the store for a full refund.

One of the best things about the festive period is the food. Roasties, turkey, stuffing, cheese and plenty of chocolate will all be consumed this week. But before you begin devouring that festive supermarket shop, there are a few things that you may want to double-check. This comes as the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a series of recalls over December.

Foods have been taken off shelves and customers asked to return them with a potential for food poisoning in some cases – and no one wants that over the Christmas break. Here are all the food recalls to look out for in December. Which food items are being recalled? Cheese recall What is it? Dunnes is recalling the following nine cheeses: Where are they sold? The cheeses are being sold at Dunnes stores across Northern Ireland. Why are they being recalled? The products are being recalled due to potential listeria presence – bacteria that could give you listeriosis, a nasty food poisoning that could well ruin Christmas. What should I do if I have the items? The FSA told customers to return to the store for a full refund. Cooked beef slices © Tesco What is it? Tesco 10 Cooked Beef Slices – 125g with a use-by date of 24 January 2025. Where is it sold? Tesco. Why is it being recalled? The product is being recalled as it has the wrong date on it. The date says 24 January, but it should instead say 24 December. What should I do if I have the item? 'If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the Tesco store for a full refund,' says Tesco. Granola bars © MadeGood What is it? Brand Organic recalls the following MadeGood Granola Bars: Where are they sold? Retailers including Amazon and Planet Organic. Why are they being recalled? The bars are being recalled as they may contain metal. What should I do if I have the items? Return the bars to the store in which you bought them for a full refund (with or without the receipt
