The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a variety of reasons
Customers are being urged to check their kitchen cupboards, fridges and freezers after a number of food products were recalled from various supermarkets.
When a product is recalled, the FSA provides details on what consumers should do if they have purchased the item, as well as detailed information on why the product has been withdrawn from sale, reports the Liverpool Echo. These products are unsafe to eat. Customers who have bought these items should not consume them but return them to the store for a full refund.
Tesco Tesco is recalling its Tzatziki Dip because Salmonella has been detected in the product. Symptoms caused by Samonella typically include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
