The British Foreign Office has issued a warning to anyone planning on travelling to France as the country experiences ongoing protests.
Last week, there were two nights of thousands-strong protests across Paris. Police dispersed crowds with tear gas and water cannons and there were hundreds of arrests.To help ensure the safety of British nationals when they travel abroad, whether for work or pleasure, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office publishes up to date travel advice for every country in the world. The UK Foreign Office said: "On March 16, largescale demonstrations started in central Paris and elsewhere in France and police presence increased. Protests could turn violent and continue. This could lead to disruptions to road travel.
