The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has issued a warning for Britons to avoid 11 destinations in Mexico
Holidaymakers are being advised to steer clear of 11 destinations in Mexico due to escalating safety concerns. British tourists planning trips to the popular North American holiday spot have been cautioned about visiting certain areas as security risks intensify.
This warning follows the tragic incident where two Australian brothers and their American friend were killed during a surfing trip on the Baja California peninsula.The Foreign Office has advised: "Take care when withdrawing money from ATMS or exchanging money at an exchange shop . It's generally safer to use ATMs during daylight hours and inside shops or malls."
