BREAKING: Forensic tent on Blackpool street as police guard scene of 'unexplained' death
A forensic text is in place on a Blackpool residential street today as police investigate an 'unexplained' death.
Lancashire Constabulary said a man was found 'unresponsive on the pavement' in Condor Grove at 12.18pm yesterday . Emergency services, including North West Ambulance Service, attended the scene and the man was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital. However, despite the best efforts of members of the public, police and paramedics, the man was sadly later pronounced deceased at hospital. His death is currently being treated as 'unexplained' and an appeal has been launched for information.Pictures taken at the scene this morning show a forensic tent and cordon in place on a section of Condor Grove. A police car is also stationed on the street.
A force spokesperson told LancsLive: "At 12.18pm yesterday officers attending an unrelated incident were made aware that a man had been found unresponsive on the pavement in Condor Grove, Blackpool. Despite the best efforts of members of the public, our officers and paramedics, the man was sadly later pronounced deceased at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
"Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time. His death is currently being treated as unexplained."READ NEXT:
