Lincoln landmark expected to sell soon after two years on the market 💸 What would you like to see the former police station become?
The former Lincoln police station, affectionately known as the Ryvita building, is expected to be sold by the end of this year.
It's now been confirmed that a potential sale is now in its final stages, with a preferred bidder identified and contract negotiations underway. "Any funds secured through the sale of the building will be re-invested in helping Lincolnshire Police to keep our communities safe." It served as the central Lincoln police station until its closure in 2019, when the force moved to the Blue Light hub on South Park. One of the most notable suggestions, floated in September 2020, was to repurpose it as affordable accommodation for key workers.
