Tribunal begins for doctor accused of inadequate care
A tribunal will investigate whether Lincoln-based doctor provided inadequate care for numerous patients.
It is also alleged that Dr. El-Sakka was dishonest in a signed statement referring to his care of Patient A, dated May 22, 2019, and in oral evidence to a coroner in February, 2020. In 2020, an inquest put Dr El-Sakka under the microscope for his role in the tragic death of a patient, Alexander Perron, in 2018.
The senior coroner for Lincolnshire, Timothy Brennand, said at the time:"The evidence established the incident to be entirely preventable. Alexander should not have been discharged. It was predictable that his condition would deteriorate."
