Olympia Valance and her former AFL star husband Thomas Bellchambers are expecting their first child—a baby boy—together. The 31-year-old former Neighbours star took to social media on Saturday to make the happy announcement revealing she hid away for five months to ensure her pregnancy “wasn’t all a dream”. Valance’s journey to becoming a mum has been marked by four years of infertility struggles, including multiple miscarriages and a gruelling IVF process.
You were worth every tear, every setback, and every prayer,” she continued. “To all the people who supported us through the darkest days, thank you. I know I wouldn’t have made it to this point without the strength of my family and friends who managed to hold me up when I was falling apart.” The actress also acknowledged the pain of other struggling couples out there yearning to be parents.
