Joel Cutler appeared in Madison County Common Pleas Court where he was handed down a sentence of 90 days in jail and five years of community control.He was originally indicted on two counts of rape, four counts of sexual battery and three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. As part of a plea agreement, Culter pleaded guilty to one count of felony child endangerment - a third-degree felony. In exchange, the charges of rape, sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor were dropped.Culter was charged while he was a physical education teacher at Greensview Elementary School at Upper Arlington Schools. He was a teacher there for several years and a coach in the district.
