Fortnite Ballistic is a brand-new venture for Epic Games, immersing players directly into their characters' shoes in a first-person 5v5 showdown. Fortnite is set to significantly expand its content with a massive change.
Fortunately for them, that's exactly what they're getting with Fortnite Ballistic. The first-person mode was initially introduced to Fortnite Creative developers in October and arrived in update v31.30. Fortnite Ballistic, the first 5v5 mode to use first-person cameras in the Fortnite launcher, is Epic Games' response to Counter-Strike 2. The game is set to launch into early access before its official release, as the FPS mode devices may still be a bit unstable, reports the Mirror.
If the mode is well-received, we might see more experiences like this in the future, possibly even leading to a first-person version of the Battle Royale mode that started it all. But when can we expect the game to land?
