Epic Games is investigating issues with Fortnite servers and login problems across all of its games. Here's the latest on the outage and when the game will be back up
Fortnite has had a tumultuous week following the record-breaking live event that introduced Chapter 6. Players are experiencing unexpected disconnections from the game shortly after the new season began.
The Fortnite servers are currently down, and this isn't part of any scheduled maintenance. After the Juice WRLD concert event and its encore, which marked the transition into Chapter 6 Season 1 set to last until the new year, players expected smooth sailing.Initially, there was a glitch with the Ready Up button not functioning post-match, which led to the developer disabling it while addressing an "issue".
The outage isn't limited to Fortnite; other Epic Games titles such as Fall Guys, Rocket League, and the Epic Games Store are also affected by what appears to be a significant disruption, reports the Mirror. The @FortniteStatus Twitter account has informed players: "We're investigating an issue affecting logins, which we are working to resolve now. We'll provide an update to this post once the issue has been resolved."
