Fortnite streamer Clix is now able to compete at FNCS Fortnite FortniteWilds EpicGames
Unfair or harsh bans have certainly been a problem for Epic Games since Fortnite blew up into the competitive juggernaut it is today and the most recent controversy surrounding Epic’s policy for banning players was brought to light when popular Fortnite streamer and competitor Cody “Clix” Conrod received a 14-day ban for “teaming up with a competitor.”
At the time Clix noted that this ban “means I can’t participate in the FNCS Grand Finals and I can’t participate in the next FNCS in a month, which means I can’t go to the LAN event.” However, Chapter 4 Season 3 brought an update to Fortnite’s ban policy allowing players like Clix to now compete competitively.the developers said: “In Chapter 4 Season 3, we’ve made changes to our policy on competitive bans and their impact on FNCS eligibility.
“This new policy takes effect with the start of Chapter 4 Season 3, which means anyone actioned under the prior policy during Chapter 4 Season 2 has a fresh start going into FNCS Major 3 and will be eligible to participate as long as they meet all other eligibility requirements.”“NO WAYY, UNBANNED FOR THIS UPCOMING FNCS LETS GOOO.
