Very confident in our good pubs

Burnley's The Royal Dyche, which is named after the town football club's former manager, is up for the Best Pub to Watch Sport. While the Black Bull Hotel Old Langho hopes to scoop the ultimate accolade - Pub of The Year, which was also recently named one of the best in the country for al fresco dining.
Finally, a young chef based in West Lancashire is gunning for glory as Chef of the Year. Karl Quirante, who is head chef at The Cricketers gastropub in Ormskirk, will battle it out with two other cooks to take the Best Young Pub Chef crown.
