Data on weight, height, general condition, and fluid and food intake were also available in the Senior Alert register. Information regarding comorbidities, falls, and fractures were retrieved from the National Patient Register, including hospital-based diagnoses from both inpatient and outpatient visits. Socioeconomic data were retrieved from Statistics Sweden, and the date of death was retrieved from the Swedish Cause of Death Register.
