FRAMOR Morocco gave it a right go but they fell short against 2018 World Cup winners France. Les Bleus vs Argentina in the final on Sunday.
France end Morocco’s World Cup dream with a 2-0 victory in the semi-finals so the holders will battle it out with Argentina for the trophy on Sunday.
Kylian Mbappe had two attempts blocked but the ball fell to Theo Hernandez and the left-back netted past Yassine Bounou with a calm finish. Morocco then enjoyed a long spell on top in the second-half as they had France on the back foot for much of the final 45 minutes. Mbappe was the trouble causer again as the PSG superstar dribbled into the penalty. He was unable to score with his effort but the ball fell kindly for Randal Kolo Muani who tapped home from close range.
