The Dons have endured a tough start to the season and it won't get any easier on European duty.
It wasn't the competition they were aiming for, but Aberdeen get their Europa Conference League group stage campaign underway on Thursday evening.
The Aberdeen players, staff and fans wouldn't swap it though, despite being handed a tough group stage draw alongside Frankfurt, PAOK and HJK Helsinki. You could see it as getting the hardest game out of the way first, although in truth the Dons will be doing well to pick up points in any of their games.When is the game?
