Can't get enough Superman ? If you have "Man of Steel" fever, Carol and John's Comic Shop in West Park has your fix.People who stop by the shop located in Kamm’s Plaza in the West Park neighborhood during business hours can pick out two of DC Comics’ “ Superman ” books from thousands available.
The titles will be from the last decade, covering the 1970′s to present. They’ll be offered the entire month of July and beyond . “We wanted to do something to celebrate the amazing things that are happening around town during the filming, while reminding people of Superman’s rich history in Cleveland,” said owner John Dudas. “This is also an opportunity to promote literacy and introduce people to the amazing world of comic books.”‘Superman’ filming Wednesday included ‘impact’ outside PNC Bank building
The iconic comic book superhero was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster in 1933 while both attended Glenville High School in Cleveland. Carol and John’s Comic Book Shop is prepared to give away thousands of comic books if necessary.
