A plan to make changes at a former Kilmarnock pub has given fresh hope the watering hole could reopen.Weeks after the closure of the bar, which was popular with Killie fans, the brewery that owned the venue announced plans for a £300,000 facelift.
On the firm's website, the pub is still seeking a new owner with bosses stating the minimum ingoing costs are £58,718 and the rent set at £32,874. A document on Star Pubs' website reads: "The refurbishment focuses on creating a warm, inviting ambience with a new front bar, fixed seating, and refreshed interior.
