The concessions will be based inside another high street retailer
Six years after filing for administration and closing their doors, one of the UK's most iconic businesses is coming back to the high street. Toys R Us will soon open 37 new concessions within WH Smiths in time for Christmas .
This latest expansion will bring this number to 76 in time for the Christmas toy rush, Lancs Live reports. All 100 UK shops closed as a result - but plans for relaunch were announced in October 2022 when it landed a deal with WH Smith. Managing director of WHSmith High Street Sean Toal said: "Nearly 40 years ago, Toys R Us first came to the UK, and we take great pride in being the steward of this much-loved brand in the UK.
