Sunny and dry weather is forecast in Greater Manchester today - before downpours hit our region tomorrow.
According to Met Office forecasters, sunny and cloudy intervals are expected in our region this morning with wall-to-wall sunshine predicted for much of the afternoon. It will feel 'fairly warm' as temperatures reach a high of around 21C this afternoon. But cloudier weather is then forecast for tomorrow with some rain expected from around 1pm. Heavy showers are set to hit from around 4pm with the wet weather continuing into tomorrow evening.It will still feel warm tomorrow with the mercury reaching highs of around 22C. On the overall outlook for the North West for today, Met Office forecasters said: "Any cloud in the far south gradually clearing through the morning, then a fine and mostly sunny day to come across the region.
A yellow heat health alert for the East and West Midlands, East of England, South East, South West, North West and London was previously issued by the UK Health Security Agency . It will end at 9am today.
