The Intact Centre is extending its mental health services after a successful funding bid.
The funding bid from the Henry Smith charity and support from Preston City Council will allow the centre to recruit a Mental Health Practitioner to support the community.
There will now be a weekly appointment-based Counselling service for people with mental health and life issues as well as w weekly well-being drop-in/talk for health service, providing a space for people to meet new friends and access well-being activities Denise Hartley MBE, CEO of the Intact Centre said, “We see the impact of the current economic crisis everyday with our service users. People are scared and many don’t know how they will cope.
