Julie Gray Julie Gray of Gladstone Street, Bacup died at home on Wednesday, September 13, aged 63 years. A service will take place at the Chapel of Rest on Tuesday, September 26 at 10.45am, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am, conducted by Ms Gemma Rooke. The family moved to Clayton-le-Moors later and Marie attended Accrington High School from where she went to Liverpool University to study French. After graduating she first taught at Manchester Girls Grammar School before taking up a post at Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School in the early 60s.
