PEA outlines open pit, underground mining and milling operation to produce 353,000ozpa Au

G Mining Ventures has announced the results of a preliminary economic assessment for the development of the Oko West gold project in Guyana which it acquired earlier this year through the acquisition of Reunion Gold .The PEA outlines an open pit and underground mining and milling operation to produce an 353,000ozpa of gold at an estimated all-in sustaining cost of US$986/oz for 12.7 years.

"Oko is ideally sequenced to benefit from GMIN's regional footprint, development expertise, anticipated free cashflow from our in-production Tocantinzinho gold mine in Brazil and historically high gold prices," said G Mining Ventures chief executive Louis-Pierre Gignac. The company said it will continue to explore the land package at Oko and evaluate value-enhancement opportunities for improved economics in the feasibility.Oko hosts a measured and indicated resources of 64.
