Man Utd signed seven new players in the summer transfer window but have struggled in their opening five matches of the season
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville believes Erik ten Hag needed to sign Harry Kane and Declan Rice in order to compete for the Premier League title this season.
On his own podcast for Sky Sports, Neville claimed United needed to add other talent to their squad if they wished for a title challenge this summer. He explained: "I was worried at the start of the season. "They're not very good at the moment. There's no hysteria. I went to the Brighton game as a fan thinking: 'Could I be surprised?'
