Gazprom has filed an $884 million lawsuit against Linde over the latter's withdrawal from a gas processing plant in Russia.

The subsidiary of Gazprom , which operates the new Amur Gas Processing Plant, has filed the claim at the Arbitration Court of the Amur Region in Russia , Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing court documents it had seen.

Two years earlier, Linde had won a contract to provide engineering, procurement, and site services based on its proprietary technology for the cracker unit of SIBUR's Amur Gas Chemical Complex. Companies in Russia have filed several claims against Linde since the Western firm announced its withdrawal from the country two years ago. Most recently, a Russian court in August ordered that assets worth $1.
