Gemma Atkinson has shared the exact reason she thinks her relationship with Gorka Marquez 'works' after previously branding them 'unstoppable'. She had previously said how a concerned family member checked in on the pair after reports of a 'rough patch' between them.
But during a TV appearance earlier in the year, Gemma was asked by host Lorraine Kelly about the rumours that she and Gorka were going through a tricky period, which is when the Hits Radio host revealed that some members of her family were worried about the speculation. Gemma went on: "Because I have done Strictly and I know that side of it, it’s not a shock to me. Army wives, their partners are away for six or seven months and they make out that I’ve been moaning that I’ve been on my own for three weeks but really I am having the best time.
And Gemma has echoed that fact as she and Gorka have been spending some more time apart with his work commitments which is currently seeing him tour around the country with some of his Strictly co-stars in the Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals Live tour.
