An alligator photographed in United States was so gigantic people believed the photograph had been doctored.
The huge creature was discovered by a farmer stuck in an irrigation ditch in near Lake Blackshear, Georgia, with several injuries, including a gunshot wound to its stomach. He quickly called Georgia Department of Natural Resources , who tended to the animal and took photos of it at the scene.‘[The alligator] was 13 feet, four inches long, 57 inches in circumference to the chest and we estimate his weight between 700 and 750 pounds,’ Brent Howze, a wildlife biologist, said.It is thought the alligator could have been up to 50 years old, with researchers now working to discover its exact age.
