Heartbreaking news.
A teenage girl was arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of the body of a newborn baby.Police were called following concerns for the child’s welfare – however the baby was dead on arrival.A 15-year-old girl from the area was arrested.
Police Commander for Herefordshire, Superintendent Sue Thomas said: ‘Police were called at around 8.40am on Sunday, March 24 to reports of a concern for welfare for a newborn baby at a property in Ross-on-Wye.The death is being treated as suspicious and the teenager has since been released on police bail.Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
