Girl fighting for life and boy injured after stabbing in town centre
A SCHOOLGIRL is fighting for her life and a boy is seriously injured after they were stabbed in a town centre.
Cops have arrested a 15-year-old boy after the youngsters were knifed in Hexham, Northumberland, shortly after 5pm.A boy, 15, and a girl, 16, have been left seriously hurt following the stabbing in Priestpopple.A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: "Their next of kin are being informed. "An investigation was immediately launched, and a 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody at this time.
