The Glasgow bakery is handing out their delicious bakes this week
People with a sweet tooth in Glasgow will have the chance to feed their cravings in the west end this week as one popular bakery celebrates its birthday.
Handing out some of the mouth-watering Portuguese custard tarts, people will have the chance to grab them on the hour, every hour.From 9am until 5pm, business owners Emma Airley and Sebastian Bacewicz will be giving away a full platter of natas each hour from their storefront on Byres Road. They will also be running a series of competitions on the shop’s Instagram page throughout its birthday week, with additional sweet treats up for grabs for those who take part.
The Portuguese bakery has been a food staple of Glasgow’s west end since its launch last year. The couple were a select few smaller business owners across the UK to be chosen as Ambassadors for the British Business Bank’s Start Up Loans programme to turn their business idea into reality with Emma and Sebastian receiving a £40,000 loan through the programme.
