A Glasgow grandad who was placed in an induced coma after taking unwell while on holiday to Spain has racked up £30,000 in medical bills .
His son John Jnr, 43, told the Record: "My dad went out to Benidorm with his pal Archie on October 2 for a week. He was enjoying himself on the first day but then he started unwell. "However, he is still needing oxygen and has been badly hallucinating. It could be the effects of the induced coma but he'll still be here for a while yet."
