House prices in Glasgow have seen an increase compared to last year, according to new data from the Land Registry.
The data revealed that the cost of purchasing a new property, in Scotland as a whole, saw a spike last month. On average, the cost of buying a new home in the country is currently at £194,156 - this is up by 1.1 per cent from this time last year. This is a 0.5 per cent increase since last month and a 0.9 per cent increase since last year.
In South Lanarkshire, however, house prices dropped slightly by 0.6 per cent, with the average cost of buying at £165,174.
