The annual We Love Lunch took place at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on Sunday, October 8.College of Scotland, led by The Apprentice star Reece Donnelly, opened the musical-themed occasion with songs from Les Mis, Waitess and Moulin Rouge.and games with prizes, the afternoon was hosted by Britain's Got Talent singer Edward Reid and raised a total of £17,500 for the Glasgow-based charity.

Deborah Roe, director of fundraising for SBH Scotland, said:"Our annual Ladies Lunch is a highly anticipated event in our calendar each year and we work hard to ensure it’s a dazzling, fun-filled affair. "Once again, we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our sponsors and guests and it’s a joy to watch everyone having a great time while raising vital funds."We heavily rely on fundraising to reach our annual targets and with a goal of £1.5million to raise throughout 2023, events like these are crucial to make sure we can continue to be there for families when they need us most.

"We’re incredibly grateful to all of our generous sponsors and everyone who attended and donated to the lunch." The annual We Love Lunch event was created in 2007 and has raised £200,000 to provide support to thousands of children, young people and adults across Scotland affected by the lifelong, complex conditions of spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.Readers’ comments: You are personally liable for the content of any comments you upload to this website, so please act responsibly.
