On Tuesday, November 26 local officers, supported by Retailers Against Crime, carried out warrant checks targeting prolific offenders throughout the city centre.
Officers in Glasgow carried are working to crackdown on shoplifting and retail crime in the city centre .
Chief Inspector John McCartin said: “This action is an excellent example of how we work closely with partners in the retail and business sectors in the city centre to deter, prevent and investigate retail crime. “If you are experiencing issues with shoplifting, please do get in touch with us as we use all the information we receive to respond where and when appropriate. Every week, our officers are making arrests in relation to shoplifting and bringing those responsible to justice, and will continue to do so.
