A police probe has been launched after multiple pupils caused a riot at Rosshall Academy last week. The incident is understood to have taken place at around 10.30am on Friday, April 19.

It's also claimed that glass bottles were thrown, with a member of staff alleged to have almost been caught in the crossfire. Footage seen by Glasgow Live shows pupils huddled together in a hall with pink orange smoke floating around. Students can be seen throwing objects around the room. An outraged parent, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "The leavers were allowed into the building in the morning. The idea was to hold them in PE and then it went out of control. Staff tried to get them to leave and they came back in.
"The smoke bombs and flares went off and then the fire alarm went off. Younger pupils have nearly been hit with the flares. There was a teacher who nearly got hit with a glass bottle.
