Glasgow's Govan-Partick bridge closed for three nights just days after opening

Glasgow City Council has confirmed the pedestrian and cyclist bridge is closed from Monday, September 9 to Wednesday, September 11 for 'final testing' to be carried out.

Thousands attended the opening of the city's newest bridge, for pedestrians and cyclists, on Saturday September 7.

The Govan Footbridge Festival saw people turn up in droves to celebrate the new bridge in style with a fun-filled festival including ceilidh dancing and a beautiful view of the River Clyde. See if you can spot yourself in our gallery here.
