The Glaswegian Pop Idol singer is joining the Loose Women on tour aff
It's official - Glasgow's very own Michelle McManus will join the Loose Women Live tour as a special guest when it heads our way next month. The Scottish Pop Idol winner turned TV presenter will be a guest during the highly-anticipated tour as panellists Kaye Adams, Denise Welch, Linda Robson and Brenda Edwards take to the road for their first ever live tour.
The fantastic news comes 20 years since Michelle McManus won the second series of ITV’s Pop Idol. Since then, she’s gone on to become a familiar face on Scottish TV, is a presenter of BBC Scotland’s Afternoon Show, a regular co-host of BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends and was a guest panellist on Loose Women in 2018.
Ben Hatton, Director of Theatre Touring for Cuffe and Taylor, said: “We’re delighted to have Michelle joining the Loose Women Live in Glasgow! She will be a great special guest alongside the Loose Women panellists and fellow Scot Kaye Adams, Linda Robson, Brenda Edwards and Denise Welch. Having a live audience is such an important part of Loose Women and we can’t wait to bring the show to the viewers live and in-person, across 16 different venues, for the first time.
