Bavarian Bakehouse, Glasgow’s oldest artisan bakery, is opening its first shop in the city in more than two decades — with the new West End venue set to open later this month.

The oldest artisan bakery in Glasgow has announced that it will be opening up a new shop in the city.

She commented: "We’re excited to open a shop that allows us to engage directly with our customers again. While our products are already loved in cafes and restaurants across the city, having a physical storefront is something we’ve always dreamed of." According to McShane, the new shop will both feature well-loved classics and act as a testing ground for new products. It will also serve up coffee from Thomsons’ Coffee, Glasgow’s oldest roaster.
