Police have reportedly cordoned off a street in the Shettleston area following a disturbance involving two men on Friday morning.
Officers and paramedics scrambled to Glenturret Street after 7am on October 6, where a man, 52, was found with a serious injury to his arm. He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. An eyewitness said: "Forensics and CID are at the scene, and local residents are not allowed to leave the house. Nobody is getting in or out of the area.A spokesperson said: “Around 7.20am on Friday, 6 October, 2023, police were called to a report of a disturbance involving two men in Glenturret Street, Glasgow. Emergency services attended and a 52-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious arm injury.
"An ambulance and a special operations response team were dispatched to the scene. One patient was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
