The Glasgow Caledonian student, who is studying Forensic Investigations, will be flying out to Florida next April as he looks to make his country proud.Speaking to the Glasgow Times, Josh has admitted that the sport has been"life-changing" for him after he has grown in confidence since taking up cheerleading.

"That was when I went to my local cheerleading team, All Stars and Stripes, and they were brilliant with me."Now, looking back, I am much more confident in myself and who I am as a person all thanks to cheerleading." "I am so honoured to be able to do this and I am looking to make everyone proud when I am over there.Josh, who is from Elgin, moved to Glasgow for his studies and joined his university cheerleading team, something he now coaches.
