Amelia Boal failed to attend the home of a patient who suffers from Alzheimer's on numerous occasions as well as neglecting the care of nine other patients between March 2022 and June 2023.
A Glasgow support worker has been struck off the register after she lied about supporting vulnerable patients during home visits.
Boal also falsified the length of her care visits to service user 'BB's' home using her employer’s ‘Access People Planner’ app. She would check in and out kilometres away from the patient's home, this happened on several occasions between November 2022 and March 2023. Part of the decision reads: "Social service workers must be truthful, honest and trustworthy. They must be reliable and dependable and maintain clear, accurate and up to-date records in line with procedures relating to their work.
