The hugely popular event sees taxi drivers don fancy dress and transform their taxis to raise a smile and make sure kids with additional support needs can enjoy a much-needed day out at the beach.
One of the most colourful events in the Glasgow calendar that's always sure to raise a smile, the Taxi Outing to Troon is set to return next week.
Taking place on June 19, this will be the 77th year of the event, which takes place annually and sees families regularly lining the streets to catch a glimpse of the procession as it makes its way through Glasgow down to Ayrshire.READ MORE: Glasgow restaurant Hazel teams up with Edinburgh coffee faves for new cafe concept
The day out is free of charge for the families involved and began in the wake of the Second World War in 1947 and has continued ever since.
