Residents of the £25.9m development at Sighthill Circus in North Glasgow are thrilled with their new homes. The properties, including flats and houses, are available for mid-market rent and offer convenient access to the city centre and motorway. The development is part of the £250m Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area, the largest of its kind in the UK outside of London.

Glasgow tenants have moved into a new multi-million-pound development with residents praising their homes.

Located near the new Sighthill Bridge the properties include a mix of 86 one and two-bedroom flats and two and three-bedroom homes, all for mid-market rent.Alan Morton, who is a Lowther tenant part of the Wheatley Group, said that the homes appeal to him as he can visit family members easily due to the close access the development has to the M8 motorway.

“One of my favourite things is how close it is to everything. I’m just a 20-minute walk from the city centre and it’s close to the motorway too, so I can easily visit my dad.The mid-market rent properties are aimed at people and families who cannot afford to buy their own property or rent in the private sector or have very low priority for social housing.

“I also love the view we have of the Sighthill Bridge. It’s beautiful at night when we look out and it’s all lit up.”
