Three friends and budding entrepreneurs are behind the new brand, now available in a host of top Glasgow bars including The Finnieston, Lebowskis, Kong, Wunderbar, West Side Tavern and Max's.
Three Glasgow-based friends have come together to bring what they believe will be Scotland’s first-ever coffee tequila after spotting a gap in the market - following the news Patron would not be exporting their version to the UK.
The trio say the Hacienda master distillers utilise processes that ensure a unique scent body and taste from each tequila bottled. Jalisgow is produced in small batches at the distillery and is created by local producers and farmers using 100 per cent blue webber agave, which is the highest quality agave on the market.
Speaking about the launch, co founder of Jalisgow Adam, said: "We are all huge fans of both coffee and tequila. My background is in the coffee trade so I know the importance of making sure the blend works with such a bold flavour.
