Devastated family and friends have paid heartfelt tributes to Cheryl Robertson after she lost her battle against a rare form of lung cancer, within just six months of diagnosis.

The family and friends of a 'beautiful and special' Glasgow woman have paid tribute to her after she died within six months of a shock cancer diagnosis - aged just 28.

Cheryl, who worked as a procurement buyer, was supported by her loving partner Robert Cameron who helped her through the last six months of her life. Devastated with grief, he has paid tribute to his biggest supporter.Robert said: "She was unknowingly more a support to me, such a beautiful person inside and out. She was so thoughtful and kind.
