Devastated family and friends have paid heartfelt tributes to Cheryl Robertson after she lost her battle against a rare form of lung cancer, within just six months of diagnosis.
The family and friends of a 'beautiful and special' Glasgow woman have paid tribute to her after she died within six months of a shock cancer diagnosis - aged just 28.
Cheryl, who worked as a procurement buyer, was supported by her loving partner Robert Cameron who helped her through the last six months of her life. Devastated with grief, he has paid tribute to his biggest supporter.Robert said: "She was unknowingly more a support to me, such a beautiful person inside and out. She was so thoughtful and kind.
Garry Robertson, Cheryl's older brother issued a heartfelt statement on social media. "Hardest post that I’ve ever to make.", he said. "I’m grateful she no longer has to suffer. She was loved by so many people, she was such a happy, loving caring person. Shine bright like the star you are Cheryl."Demi Leigh Muirhead said: "Still can’t believe the news about Cheryl Robertson. You were the nicest girl ever and I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing you.
